About APICES

The AAE Resident and New Practitioner Committee is excited to invite Endodontic Resident Members to attend APICES 2026 — the Advanced Program in Clinical Endodontics Symposium.

Thanks to the generous support of the AAE, the Foundation for Endodontics, and our corporate partners,APICES is offered entirely complimentary to attendees. Registered residents receive complimentary registration, shared hotel accommodations, and a travel stipend, allowing them to focus less on cost and more on fully enjoying the weekend, building relationships, and taking advantage of this one-of-a-kind experience.

Developed specifically for residents by residents and new practitioners, APICES offers a unique opportunity to step outside the day-to-day demands of residency and engage in the real-life conversations that shape careers in endodontics. The program is designed to provide honest insight into the realities of the specialty — from clinical decision-making, career pathways, practice opportunities, and life after graduation.

What makes APICES truly special is the sense of community it creates. Attendees hear directly from endodontists and specialty leaders who once sat exactly where they are now — navigating residency and preparing for the future.

For many endodontists, APICES becomes more than a conference; it becomes the place where they meet future colleagues, mentors, collaborators and lifelong friends, leaving inspired, energized and more confident about their future in the specialty.

Connecting Residents to the Specialty

APICES also helps residents better understand the organizations that support and shape the future of endodontics, including:

  • American Association of Endodontists
  • American Board of Endodontics
  • Foundation for Endodontics
  • College of Diplomates
These conversations give residents valuable perspective on leadership opportunities, continuing education, advocacy, research support, board certification, and ways to remain actively involved throughout their careers.

Explore the APICES Exhibit Hall

The APICES Exhibit Hall provides residents with direct access to industry leaders, emerging technologies, clinical solutions, and practice resources designed to support the transition from residency into practice.

Attendees will have the opportunity to:

  • Explore the latest products and innovations in endodontics
  • Connect with corporate representatives and partners
  • Learn about technologies shaping the future of patient care
  • Discuss tools and services relevant to early career success

Registration and the exhibit hall will open Friday afternoon, with educational programming beginning later that day.
